Coaching Philosophy
I believe everyone can achieve a high level of mastery in a practical shooting if they are willing to put in the work. I prioritize teaching solid foundational skills that I call “fire control”. Good fire control skills = placing shots where you want them. From there, I continue building a shooter’s fire control with the key elements of efficiency, consistency, and speed. Some key skillsets I will coach in addition to fire control are: shooting on the move, transitions, vision, how to dry fire, how to live fire, stage strategy, draw, reloads, positional shooting and stage strategy (USPSA/IDPA/IPSC/PCSL/Steel Challenge). I do in-person classes and online coaching/feedback.
