We have some coaches who do 5-10 lessons per day and others that get a few bookings each month. It is entirely possible to earn up to 120K+ in additional yearly revenue using Coachly.

Live Call Lessons Connect with clients on high-quality video calls. All pre-lesson scheduling and client communication is automated for you.

And with things like sending clients start-time reminders and matching up time zones completely handled, you can just show up and teach.

Analysis Lessons Clients send you footage from practice sessions or games. You use our best-in-class analysis tools to break down their technique and provide truly personal feedback.

This can include using AI-powered skeleton tracking, telestrated drawings, pro-player comparisons, voice-overed notations, or self-recorded video insights – even full technique demos – directly onto each client's returned footage.

Full Remote Lessons Clients send you footage from practice sessions or games. You use our best-in-class analysis tools to break down their technique, along with our ready-made remote lesson package builder to add drills, pro player examples and assign homework to complete between lessons.

In Person Lessons Get connected with vetted local clients. Each request informs you of their age, experience-level, availability, and distance from your main training location. That way, you can decide if they're a good fit for you.

If it's a match, we send you the athlete's and parent's name, phone number, and email address, so you can reach out and schedule your first lesson together.

Chat Analysis Lessons You can alternatively work with your athletes using only our robust Chat feature. Once your client receives a personal invite from you to join the app or subscribes to this monthly lesson type, you can offer them video analysis, drills, pro player examples, links to group video call sessions or additional resources, and other ongoing lesson support all from within Chat.

Yes. The Coachly marketplace and all of the software and online lesson services it entails are 100% free to use for all coaches.

And whatever price you decide to charge for your amazing sports instruction goes directly into your bank account. The banks just charge a 3% processing fee, which you would encounter with any online payment provider, but we keep nothing.

We know your follow-up question is something along the lines of: How do you make any money?

For lesson clients who purchase instruction from our marketplace, we charge a 10% fee. This fee ensures that all lesson content and learnings remain cloud-stored in the client’s personal library.

This means that the knowledge you share as coaches can be referenced by your clients anytime to help accelerate their progress and prepare them for the big competitions that add up to an athlete’s career.

For Analysis and Full Remote Lessons, you may receive a wide variety of footage sent by athletes and parents.

They can film their athlete practicing at a local park, training facility, during their in-person lesson with another coach, in their backyard, garage, or living room – basically, they can film a Coachly lesson anywhere, anytime.

Pro Tip: After the very first lesson with a new client, you as coaches can begin requesting certain types of footage that help you further assess the athlete and give additional feedback.

For example, you may want footage of the lesson client performing the recommended drill that you taught them in their last sesson. Or, if you’ve been working with a client for a time and they have only ever sent over practice footage, you can request that they send over video of them preformning in live competitions.

Lastly, there are two ideal camera angles that clients will send you to analze.

We call the first angle Side View. These videos will be taken by filming the front of their athlete’s body as they execute their motions.

The second angle, called Back View, is optional but recommended. Filming from the back means doing so from safely behind their athlete. They’ll want to be slightly angled to the athlete’s open side, so you as coaches can see a fuller picture of their mechanics.

Live Call Lessons can be similarly diverse footage wise.

Different athletes may have access to different locations and different sports training equipment.

Coaches can request your preferred live call lesson setup for new clients with the customizable “Live Lesson Note” that goes out to all live call lesson clients automatically before they start their real-time session.

There are no coaching contracts whatsoever and zero obligations. You work for yourself only.
