An analysis lesson consists of an initial swing breakdown, and identification of areas of strength and areas of growth within your current swing. We will discuss and identify your current swing thoughts, cues, or “feels”, and how they are shaping your swing. My 5 minute analysis will hopefully help you understand why your body likes to move a certain way, and how small changes that maximize your current strengths can yield big results. This breakdown will serve as the starting point for your swing development, and open the door to new drills and ideas. Defensive video is also encouraged.

The full remote lesson consists of a deeper dive into not only your swing, but your training environment as well. Once we have identified your swing tendencies, we can alter your practice environment and drills to maximize your growth potential. This lesson includes a full practice analysis and will get you closer to “game ready” confidence in your abilities. Testing your swing against more challenging drills, learning about approach at the plate, and setting goals for your next training session will be the emphasis of this session.

The goal of a live lesson call is to get to know you better as a person and a player. Having played over 300 games on 11 different team makeups since the start of college, I’ve been surrounded by tons of elite players and learned a lot about how not only I approach the game, but how other elite players do as well. Personality and personal connection go a long way in delivering a message that resonates with a player. Live practice reps, immediate feedback and discussion, detailed offensive understanding and strategy, enhancing psychology/mindset/approach, failure resiliency, goal setting, more.

In-person lessons allow for the highest level of personalization to the specific needs of the player. Catered cues and drills to maximize the quality of reps for that individual session and create “feels” that stick for future performance. The goal is to build a swing that dominates, a “feel” toolbox, and a strong mindset that allows the player to be able to self correct and make adjustments on their own. Understanding how and why their body moves on a deeper level, using the knowledge gained from the session, and bringing that knowledge into their own practice and game reps with their team.
