I will breakdown your mechanics and correct each issue one at a time until we get you an MLB level swing. I am not teaching kids how to be good in little league, I am teaching them how to have a chance at professional baseball.

Thanks a lot, Andrew! You picked up a few things I couldn't see, which I was hoping for. I mean, I knew about the straight arm and bent front leg, but I couldn't figure out what was causing it or how to fix it. I'll work on your sequencing, but it will take some time to unlearn the life-long back-and-forth shifts and the upturned hands. I'll get back to you soon. Best, Peter
Coaching Philosophy
I teach the best way to hit for a high batting average. It is crucial to make sure these young kids have a fast, quick, short compact barrel path to the ball, without rolling over, casting or looping their bats. I really focus on keeping your head as still as possible throughout the swing. I correct all extra unnecessary movement that will impede your vision as you are watching the ball move towards you.

Jan 2017I played 3 years of college baseball, i was a college all american my second season and then my 3rd season i tore my labrum and my shoulder was never the same again so I decided to move on to coaching instead. I spent 3 years training with a ex major leaguer, former MLB scout and professional hitting coach. I learned everything from him and I now I am using this knowledge to teach kids of all ages.
