Coaching Philosophy

My goal is to help young athletes build confidence, discipline, and strong basketball fundamentals. I focus on teaching the core skills of shooting, passing, and dribbling while creating a positive environment where players can learn, grow, and enjoy the game. I believe effort, consistency, and a strong mindset are just as important as talent.

Experience

Nba academy

Athlete

Sep 2021 - Jun 2022

I grew up in Canada and developed my game through years of competitive basketball. From September 2021 to June 2022, I attended the NBA Academy, where I trained alongside talented players from around the world. The experience exposed me to high-level coaching, skill development, and different playing styles from a variety of international backgrounds. My goal as a coach is to pass on the knowledge, discipline, and fundamentals I learned by helping young athletes improve their shooting, passing, dribbling, confidence, and overall understanding of the game.

Team canada

Athlete

Jun 2021

In the summer of 2021, I represented Team Canada at the U19 level, selected as one of the top 13 players in the country. Competing internationally was a valuable experience that challenged me to perform at a high standard, adapt to different styles of play, and grow within a high-performance environment. That experience helped shape my approach to the game, focusing on discipline, fundamentals, and consistency—principles I now pass on through my coaching.

London 3x3

Athlete

Apr 2026

Currently, I am competing in the 2026 summer season as a FIBA 3x3 athlete, representing FIBA 3x3 London. Playing 3x3 at a high level has helped me develop faster decision-making, stronger fundamentals, and a deeper understanding of spacing, pace, and physicality in the game. I’m actively applying what I learn in competition to my coaching, with the goal of giving back to young players. My focus is to help kids build solid fundamentals, confidence, and a strong basketball IQ, while learning how to compete and think the game at a higher level.

My basketball journey began at Crawford Adventist Academy in Toronto, where my game developed and my passion for basketball truly took off. From there, I earned opportunities to represent Team Canada and later attended NBA Academy, continuing to grow as a player. Today, I compete professionally with a London men’s 3x3 team, building on the experiences and opportunities that have shaped my basketball career.
