Coaching Philosophy

My philosophies on playing baseball have made me the coach I am today. By combining; mental, physical and functional strength training I have worked with baseball pitchers of all ages that have gained a minimum of 10mph on their fastballs. My lessons are personalized, tailored to each player's specific needs and are based off of MLB warmups. My lessons combine my philosophies, conditioning and rigorous exercise that improves pitching, supports healthy progress and most importantly helps prevent potential injuries. Mental: Positive Visualization- the night before a game going through being very successful in any situation during the game. Focus- every pitch of the game. Knowing your opponents strengths and weaknesses. If you never played a team watching them warmup will help. Physical: Muscle memory- being able to repeat good mechanics over and over. Being a pitcher and not a thrower. Pitchers can throw not only fastballs for strikes, but can also locate off speed any time in the count. Functional strength: Having the ability to be strong enough to repeat good mechanics. I have worked with kids that have gained at least 10mph on their fastballs. My lessons are set up around a MLB warmup which includes functional strength and conditioning as well as exercises that help prevent injuries.
